Organization & Staff

Your organization is your identity as an organizer. It holds your events, your staff, your payouts, and your store.

Create your organization

Before you can create a tournament or an event, you need an organization. If you do not have one yet, the platform guides you through creating it the first time you start an event.

  1. Open the organizer area and create an organization.
  2. Fill in the name, logo, description, and social links.
  3. It is approved instantly — you can start building right away.

Your public page and followers

Every organization has a public page listing its upcoming and past events. Players can follow your organization with the heart button to keep it on their radar and get a shortcut to your events.

Followers are also an audience you can email later — see the Email Marketing page.

Staff and roles

You do not have to run everything alone. Add staff and give each person only the permissions they need — for example entering results, generating pairings, checking decklists, or issuing penalties.

  • Organization staff — people who help across all your events (for example a co-organizer).
  • Tournament staff — people you add to a single tournament (for example a judge or scorekeeper for one day).

Permissions are grouped by task, so a scorekeeper can run rounds without being able to touch payouts or settings. The Judge and Scorekeeper guides explain what each role does day to day.

Accepting payments (Stripe Connect)

To charge entry fees, sell shop products, or sell TIX packs, connect your organization to Stripe. This is a one-time onboarding where Stripe verifies your identity and bank details.

Connecting Stripe unlocks:

  • paid tournament and side event entries;
  • publishing your store;
  • selling TIX packs.

Note: You are the merchant of record: payments go to your connected Stripe account, and the Stripe processing fees come out of your revenue. Players never pay a platform fee to register.

The platform's only cut on your revenue is the optional Cancellation Protection (7% of an entry fee) that a player can add at checkout. A separate small platform fee applies only to very large paid tournaments — see the Organizer Guide.

The following features need Plus: paid tournaments, coupons, refund protection, advanced stats, custom branding, staff, and side events. The core tournament functions — pairings, standings, results — are always free.

Plus costs 7.90 EUR per month or 79 EUR per year. Upgrade and manage your subscription from your billing page.

Tip: During the launch promotion (until 1 October 2026) accounts are on a free trial of Plus, so these caps are effectively lifted for now.
