Events & Event Pages
An event is a container that groups several tournaments, side events, and a shop under one branded public page.
Event or standalone tournament?
- A standalone tournament — one competition with its own page. Best for a single weekly or one-off tournament.
- An event — a hub that holds a main tournament plus side events, a schedule, a photo gallery, and a shop, all on one page. Best for a convention, a store weekend, or anything with more than one tournament.
Tournaments linked to an event inherit its branding and its photo gallery, so you set the look once.
Create an event
- From the organizer area, create an event.
- Set the name, dates, and venue (address or "online").
- Add tournaments to the event, and any side events.
Note: All schedule times are stored in a single absolute moment and shown to each visitor in their own timezone, with the venue's local time alongside — so nobody miscalculates when a round starts.
The event page builder
Build a rich public page with tabs and content blocks — no code needed. A page can have up to 8 tabs, and each tab up to 20 blocks.
Available block types:
- Rich text — formatted text with headings, links, and lists.
- Image — a single picture.
- Card grid — a grid of cards with an image, title, text, and a link (for guests, prizes, partners).
- Prize table — a structured list of prizes.
- FAQ — expandable question-and-answer entries.
- Divider — a visual separator.
Drag to reorder tabs and blocks. Changes preview as you edit.
Photo gallery
Add up to 30 photos (up to 8 MB each) to build an Airbnb-style hero gallery on the public page. Mark one photo as the featured slot to make it the large lead image.
- On desktop, the gallery shows as a mosaic; on mobile it becomes a swipeable carousel.
- Visitors can open any photo in a full-screen lightbox.
- Tournaments under the event show the same gallery automatically.
Side events and shop
Run extra tournaments under the event from the side events hub, and sell products or TIX from the store. Players see them on the event page.
Custom subdomain
Give your event a branded web address such as yourname.getpaird.io. It costs 0.30 EUR per day, from the day you activate it until the event day, paid by card. The DNS and the security certificate are set up automatically — you do not touch any technical settings.
