RELIC FEST TOULOUSE 2026
Policy

Proxies are allowed

So that as many players as possible can take part, proxies are allowed for the 2026 edition — across every event of the weekend, Friday to Sunday. In exchange, the frame is strict. Here it is, in six rules.

The six rules

What is allowed, what is not

Applies to every event of the weekend

Allowed

10 proxies maximum per deck

Ten at most, not one more. The limit is per deck, and applies to every event of the weekend.

Allowed

Printed on paper

A plain paper printout, in colour, and recognisable at first glance.

Allowed

Basic land backing

The printout slides in front of a basic land: the back stays a real card back.

Allowed

Double-sleeved deck, single-sleeved proxy

Every non-proxy card is double-sleeved. The proxy itself stays in a single sleeve.

Refused

No custom art

A proxy reproduces the official card. No reinterpretation, no alternative artwork.

Refused

No custom cards

No invented cards, no version that does not officially exist.

What this does not mean

A proxy is not a counterfeit

Allowing proxies is in no way an endorsement of counterfeits. A counterfeit remains a counterfeit: a card manufactured to pass as a real one. It has no place on the tables at Relic Fest. The only proxies accepted are the ones that follow the six rules above.

Judges will be very strict

Judges will be checking proxy usage throughout the weekend. A deck outside this frame is not legal — and Relic Fest bans fast.
